Average price per kWh by state is taken from the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s website.
Pricing for both WindTamer and Open Rotor includes the cost of:
- The entire Turbine assembly
- Standard Tower
- Complete Installation, including electrical wiring
Product Pricing for both WindTamer and Open Rotor Includes:
- Federal wind energy grant of 30% (actual ranges from 25% to 40%)
- State wind energy grant of 15% (actual ranges from 5% to 30%)
- Tax deduction savings of 10% (actual ranges from 0% to 42%)
Open Rotor Production is taken directly from comparably priced model’s performance figures published by the manufacturer.
WindTamer Production is based on testing performed on actual units at fixed wind speeds, and verified by independent testing.
