New Community Solar Purchasing Program Offered in Seneca County, NY

U.S. Government Agency Orders Mobile Renewable Power Station

Arista PowerRochester, N.Y., January 8, 2013 – Arista Power, Inc. (“Arista Power” or the “Company”) (OTCBB: ASPW) announced today that it has received an order for a Mobile Renewable Power Station (MRPS) and extended support agreement from a U.S. Government Agency.

The MRPS combines Arista Power’s state-of-the-art energy storage, power distribution and patent pending system controls and intelligence along with energy generation from solar PV to create a complete micro-grid perfectly suited for power at remote locations. The system can be transported by commercial vehicles and is designed to replace diesel fuel generators for continuous operations. The system will be used to power communications equipment in a remote location where energy security and reliability is considered mission critical.

Solarize Madison Helps Two Dozen Homeowners Install Solar Panels

This week, students in the college’s Renewable Energy Training Center visited Law’s home to help install a 7-kilowatt photovoltaic array on the roof of the barn, working alongside professional contractors from Arista Power to gain first-hand work experience. (more…)

The Technology Services Award is awarded to an individual and organization that has shown sustained commitment and leadership in support of new technology creation that provided enabling services or resources for other organizations to reach their goals and objectives. Arista Power and CEO Bill Schmitz received the award for developing the Power on Demand system that stores electricity for commercial customers and then releases it when peak demand and costs are highest, thereby reducing utility charges.
