Arista PowerRochester, NY, April 4, 2014 – Arista Power, Inc. (“Arista Power” or the “Company”) (OTCQX: ASPW), today announced that on March 31, 2014 it sold a total of 1,500 shares of Series A Convertible Preferred Stock (the “Preferred Stock”) in a private placement transaction, which resulted in gross proceeds of $1.5 million to the Company.  The net proceeds from the transactions totaled $1.41 million and will be used to meet the Company’s working capital needs and for general corporate purposes.

Arista Power Receives $625,000 U.S. Army Contract to Continue Development Of Intelligent Micro-Grid System

(“Arista Power” or the “Company”) (OTCBB: ASPW) announced today that it has received a contract valued at $625,000 from the U.S. Army to further develop an Intelligent Micro-Grid System in support of the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Research and Development Center’s (CERDEC’s) Command Power and Integration Renewable Energy for Distributed Under-Supplied Command Environments (REDUCE) program.

The contract builds on Arista Power’s successful Phase 1 and Phase 2 programs, for which Arista Power is the prime contractor. (more…)

Mr. Greenstein currently serves as President of Genie Energy Ltd. (NYSE: GNE), which, through its IDT Energy subsidiary, supplies electricity and natural gas to residential and small business customers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Genie Energy holds and manages interests in oil shale and other oil development projects in Colorado and Israel. IDT Energy is the largest independent residential energy service provider (REP) in New York State.

Arista Power Receives $574,000 Order from Stan’s Harley-Davidson Dealership for 166kw Solar Photovoltaic Array

Rochester, NY, August 12, 2013 – Arista Power, Inc. (“Arista Power” or the “Company”) (OTCBB: ASPW) has received an order valued at $574,000 for a 166kW solar photovoltaic (PV) array from Stan’s Harley-Davidson dealership in Batavia, New York.

Stan’s Harley-Davidson is a second generation retail and service dealership occupying a 28,000 square foot facility on the north side of Batavia, New York. The solar system will be comprised of more than 600 American-made solar panels mounted on the storefront’s roof. The 166kW system will be tied into the building’s existing electrical service and will be interconnected to National Grid’s transmission lines.

U.S. Government Agency Orders Mobile Renewable Power Station

Arista PowerRochester, N.Y., January 8, 2013 – Arista Power, Inc. (“Arista Power” or the “Company”) (OTCBB: ASPW) announced today that it has received an order for a Mobile Renewable Power Station (MRPS) and extended support agreement from a U.S. Government Agency.

The MRPS combines Arista Power’s state-of-the-art energy storage, power distribution and patent pending system controls and intelligence along with energy generation from solar PV to create a complete micro-grid perfectly suited for power at remote locations. The system can be transported by commercial vehicles and is designed to replace diesel fuel generators for continuous operations. The system will be used to power communications equipment in a remote location where energy security and reliability is considered mission critical.
